Visualisation of reference elevation as a 3D surface
« on: September 28, 2011, 05:10:54 am »
It would be useful to visualise the reference elevation (ground surface) in the 3D view for models with a free and movable surface.  This will allow clear 3D visualisation of the water table position relative to ground level for deforming models.

Hi,

I think you can open a 3D cad file or shape file of topography on the 3D view, so it's can be a start. I did not try with grid or raster, but it's perhaps doable also.

Cheers,
