Slice elevation issues
« on: August 24, 2006, 08:04:20 pm »
1. When looking at the slice elevations with the mesh inspector, would it possible to view the elevations of all slices simultaneously? Possibly highlight the current slice in bold? This way, I can quickly check the values, isopachs, etc. without having to write down elevations node-by-node or exporting into EXCEL.

2. In the SPECIAL operation, would is be possible to add the ability to display the thickness between ANY two slices, not just the thickness of the current slice to the next slice down? I frequently need to check the total thickness of my model. Currently, I export .trp files for the top slice and the bottom slice to EXCEL, calculate the thickness, then import back into a sacrificial .fem file for visualization. The sacrificial file is identical to the real file except that it has been reduced to two slices. Alternatively, I suppose I could copy the real file to a sacrificial file and delete slices 2 through N-1.
