nested mike 21

Dear All

I have been trying to simulate the back water effect in a reservoir using mike flood (m11+m21) setup. The initial condition starts with minimum draw down level and rises gradually to FRL. There are two inlet in the reservoir. The area of interest is a limited to a small area adjoining the maximum water level line. The nested bathymetry is used. 90 m, 30 m and 10 m. There are two structure, one dam (defined as weir) and one regulating structure where time series outflow to power station is defined.

The probelm is the water level increase with inflow in the begining as per observed reservoir level but suddenly starts falling.  I am not able to find the reason for sudden fall of water level. This probelm is in addition to very long simulation period.
