MIKE SHE / invalid file name error when using Grd2MIke

I run into this error every once in a while, and I am having a hard time finding a reason.

When using the Grd2Mike tool when i select my .asc file I sometime get an error of "invalid file name. I have no spaces in any of my file names and am just wondering if I am missing something silly.

Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding boundary condition constraints. I have read in the manuals that head-type boundary conditions can be constrained with min/max flow rates, and conversely, flow-type boundary conditions can be constrained with min/max head constraints.

I am looking to establish head-type boundary condition with a maximum head constraint, without involving flow rates. Is that possible? If so, what is the approach?

Hello,
I am simulating seawater intrusion in a coastal aquifer with a portion of the model domain being the seafloor. For the seafloor nodes, I want to have a constant seawater head BC, and a conditional mass concentration BC, with zero-gradient for negative fluid flux (outflow) and C=Cmax otherwise. In other words, for the seafloor nodes I want seawater concentration if there is no seepage, but the BC turned off (or replaced by a zero-gradient BC) if there is seepage.
I wanted to use the mass concentration BC with a min mass-flow constrain of zero, which means that the BC is active only if seawater infiltrates (mass-flow > 0), but I'm not sure this does what I want. Does it?

General Topics / GPUs not recognized since updating to Mike 2020 Update 1

Is there any changes on GPU requirements. Since upgrading to MIKE 2020 Update 1, it says that it can't find supported GPUs. They were recognized ok in MIKE 2020. I have 2 types of GPUs: Nvidia Quadro P2200 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 750.

I'm trying to use them in a Mike Flood Model with Mike21fm.

As I said, I'm not very familiar with the Leapfrog - FEFLOW interface, but one option could be to re-generate the mesh for the different volumes in FEFLOW using TetGen. Whether this helps to reduce the number of elements significantly will, however, depend on the geometry of the volume-bounding interfaces which cannot be changed in FEFLOW.

I have solved the problem with the intersections now and I managed to generate the fully unstructured mesh directly from the Leapfrog Geological Model. The problem I have now is that the mesh consists of about 7 Million of elements, of wich 4.5 Million have a volume of 10 m3 or less (and 4 M, less than 1 m3).

To fulfill my purpose, I do not need such a fine resolution (except for some specific areas around wells, 10^6 m3 would be generally OK). Is there any option to generate the mesh with more flexibility so I can control the minimum volume of the elements?

Anyone understands why do I get so many, and so small, elements?
